Indicated for relief of upset stomach associated with nausea

<2 years: Safety and efficacy not established 2-12 years: 5-10 mL PO; may repeat q15min until symptoms subsides

For maximum effectiveness do not dilute or drink fluids of any kind immediately before or after taking this product

Diabetes; product contains sugar

Antacids may alter gastric pH and interfere with absorption of some concurrent medications

Pharmacology

Mechanism of Action

Phosphoric acid: Antacid; phosphorated carbohydrate solution which neutralizes stomach acid

Dextrose and fructose: Hyperosmolar carbohydrate solutions have a direct effect on the GI tract wall, resulting in reduced GI smooth muscle contraction
