In conjunction with filgrastim
Administration
Reconstitute with 1.2 mL sterile water for injection to yield a concentration of 1.5 mg/mL with a withdrawable volume of 1 mL. Compatibility with saline or other diluents is unknown. During reconstitution, the vial contents may be gently swirled to avoid foaming during dissolution. Avoid excess or vigorous agitation

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ancestim or to E. coli proteins (may cause life-threatening allergic reactions)
Cautions
SC only; not for IV
Premedicate with H1 & H2 antihistamines & a bronchodilator to minimize possibility of anaphylactoid reactions
Observe pts for 1 hr post-administration
