#1 Clinical Trend: Vertebral Artery Dissection

Australian cricket player Philip Hughes was killed when hit by a ball that compressed the vertebral artery on the side of his neck. The doctors who examined Hughes were able to identify only one previous case in the literature where a cricket ball caused such an injury.
