#9 Clinical Trend: Diabetic neuropathy

Possible advances in the identification and treatment of diabetic neuropathy drove searches this month. A new study from Australia found success when using corneal confocal microscopy to predict peripheral neuropathy in patients with type 1 diabetes. Meanwhile, a doctor in Ohio has filed a patent for an investigational drug designed to significantly reduce pain in patients with diabetic neuropathy.
