#10 Clinical Trend: Meralgia Paresthetica

Fashion could be taking its toll on more than pocket books. Meralgia paresthetica, a condition caused by compression of one of the nerves in the outer part of the thigh, may be a result of so-called “skinny jeans.” Pain and weakness are commonly associated with the condition. Looks like physicians may have to move beyond medical advice and offer some fashion tips as well...
