      Clinical Trend of the Week (April 2-8): Malignant Liposarcoma

      The death of a well-known, controversial politician sparked this week’s top search term. Rob Ford, the former mayor of Toronto, died due to complications from a malignant liposarcoma. Known for his struggles with alcohol and drug dependency, Ford was also notorious for publicly clashing with other politicians before withdrawing from politics due to various health conditions. Liposarcoma is a rare form of cancer, and Ford’s death brought attention to the illness, prompting an increase in searches related to this condition.
