A number of behaviors can trigger flare-ups of ocular and cutaneous manifestations of rosacea, including eating spicy foods, excessive sun exposure, alcohol consumption, stress, high-intensity exercise (eg, running), and drinking hot beverages (eg, coffee, tea).
