Bladder cancer, a common urologic cancer, has the highest recurrence rate of any cancer. Globally, approximately 550,000 new cases of bladder cancer are diagnosed annually. The worldwide mortality from bladder cancer is nearly 200,000 deaths annually. Whereas non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer has a good prognosis, metastatic urothelial bladder cancer has a poor prognosis (even for patients who receive second-line chemotherapy, the estimated 2-year survival rate is 8%).

How much do you know about the presentation and diagnosis of bladder cancer? Test your knowledge with this short quiz.
