Jaundice is the most common manifestation of cholangiocarcinoma. Weight loss may also occur in some patients, as well as abdominal pain, which is relatively common in advanced disease. This pain is often described as a dull ache in the right upper quadrant. Patients may also have clay-colored stools and/or bilirubinuria. However, in many cases, cholangiocarcinoma is clinically silent.
