Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of disability and can have a significant impact on the physical and mental well-being of affected individuals. Additionally, healthcare resources and costs associated with managing the disease can be substantial. A combination of pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies are widely recommended for the management of osteoarthritis.
