It is estimated that 38 million individuals around the world are currently living with HIV/AIDS; among them, 25.4 million are receiving antiretroviral therapy (ART). Although ART options have dramatically and steadily improved over the years, HIV drug resistance continues to be a challenge that can lead to virologic failure and increased HIV morbidity and mortality.

How familiar are you with the HIV treatment resistance? Test your knowledge with this quick quiz.
