Primary testicular tumors are the most common solid malignant tumor in men aged 20-35 years in the United States. For unknown reasons, the incidence of this cancer — principally, testicular seminomas — has increased worldwide during the past century. Testicular germ cell tumors account for the vast majority (95%) of malignant tumors that arise in the testes.
