Other than fatigue, other reported adverse effects that are associated with atenolol include:

  • Hypotension

  • Bradycardia

  • Cold extremities

  • Postural hypotension

  • Depression

  • Nausea

  • Dreaming

  • Drowsiness

  • Diarrhea

  • Fatigue

  • Lethargy

  • Lightheadedness

  • Vertigo

  • Dyspnea

  • 2 °/3 ° atrioventricular block

  • Hypotension

  • Severe congestive heart failure

  • Sick sinus syndrome

  • Cognitive symptoms such as disorientation, emotional lability, and short-term memory impairment

  • Purpura, rashes

  • Thrombocytopenia

  • Elevated serum hepatic enzymes and bilirubin

  • Impotence, Peyronie disease

  • Antinuclear antibodies, lupus syndrome

  • Visual disturbances, xerophthalmia
