Off-label uses for CCBs include migraine headaches, Raynaud phenomenon (RP), and subarachnoid hemorrhage. CCBs do not treat depression; in fact, their use has been associated with depression. A recent cohort study found that CCB use in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) increased incidence of ischemic strokes. The most common CCBs are relatively weight neutral.
