Asymptomatic lymphadenopathy is often the first sign of MCL. In addition, according to Abbasi and colleagues, hepatomegaly may be present in 30% of patients and may have abdominal distention owing to hepatosplenomegaly. While the majority of patients present with symptomatic bulky disease, symptoms caused by extranodal involvement of the lungs and CNS are less common, per the same authors.
