Ki-67 proliferation fraction of < 30% in lymph nodes is associated with a more favorable prognosis of MCL, per NCCN guidelines. Pleomorphic histology, TP53 mutation, and the presence of blastoid cells are all typically associated with a more aggressive disease course.
The patient has a Ki-67 proliferation fraction of > 30% and has SOX11 negative, classical TP53 wild-type disease with small cells on morphology.
