Since the approval of RZV in Canada for patients ≥ 18 years of age who are immunocompromised because of disease or therapy, physicians may choose to vaccinate this population with two doses of RZV to help prevent HZ and related complications. The Canadian Immunization Guide is currently under review, following the approval of RZV.
