A recent, small prospective trial found that in a group of adults with CGM devices placed simultaneously on both arms for 12-14 days, mean glucose levels in the right arm were significantly higher than in the left arm, and these levels were higher irrespective of whether the participants followed an intermittent-fasting diet or engaged in unilateral arm exercise. Placement on the right arm also achieved more time in range.
